Sh! Suzanne Harbinson is from Rathfriland, County Down in Northern Ireland. She studied Fine and Applied art specializing in Silver and Jewellery at the University of Ulster in Belfast for three years.

Immediately after finishing her degree work, Suzanne received the Craft in Business award from Craft NI for her potential in business.

Since graduating from the University of Ulster in July 2007, Suzanne was selected as one of the 10 all Ireland finalists for TG4 Craftsperson of the year 2007/8. Suzanne went on to win the award and the four week project was filmed and broadcast on the TG4 network from Feb 28th - April 3rd 2008.

In September 2008 Suzanne was selected for the Making It Programme where she was able to develop her business with the support of Craft NI and Southern Regional College in Newry where the business was based until March 2010. In completion and success of the project, Suzanne decided to set up her own jewellery workshop at her home.

Suzanne shows her work through exhibitions and galleries throughout Ireland, she also sells through high profile craft fairs, retail fairs and is currently sourcing appropriate retail outlets to sell her work.
